In far 1970 some Greek-Americans was the first known surfers in Greece.
In 1993 three guys from Parga (Giorgos Papandreou, Kostis and Akis Geralexis) started their challenge riding a surfboard in the Epiro area.
Today they still goes on constantly with their sport searching assiduously new waves to ride.
Nowdays, in Greece, surfing is a well known and appreciated sport and it counts more than 300 praticants. Day by day many guys approches, getting enchanted, this fantastic and totally immersed in nature sport.
People from all over the world reaches Parga to visit and surf in one of the best spots in Greece and in Mediterranean sea.
Months from october to april are the best to practise surf in Parga.
